Andre' Montell is a man of music. His life in music started at the age of 14 in the city of Los Angeles at Dolphin House of Music where he worked after school. The first project Andre' promoted was Bill Doggett's "Honky Tonk."
After high school, Andre' spent five years and nine months in the Air Force where his interest in music grew. He formed a band while on duty in Tokyo called Four Touchdowns & The Extra Point. Returning home from military duty, Andre' returned to his old job where he became interested in productions and studio work. While at UCLA, Andre' won a scholarship to The Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. After finishing his studies Andre' began to pursue his goal of a career in the music industry.
Andre' has had the privilege of working with some of the biggest names in the music and entertainment industry; gospel, jazz, R&B and country. Names like Rev. James Cleveland, Rev. Marvin Yancy, The Gospel Keynotes, The Swanee Quintet, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Williams Brothers, Dr. Bobby Jones, The Supreme Angels, The Pilgrim Jubilees, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, The Who, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Jimmy Smith, Harry Belafonte, Nat King Cole, Joe Tex, Jerry Butler, Melba Moore, Dave Dudley, Buddy Miles, Sarah Vaughn, Diana Washington, George Harrison, Grace Jones, Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lee Lewis, Smokey Robinson, The Commodores, The Temptations, The Spinners, The Four Tops, Curtis Mayfield, The Jackson's, Pearl Bailey, Nancy Wilson, Ike & Tina Turner, Neil Diamond and The Osmonds. Andre' has worked for Motown, HOB, Stax, MCA, ABC, Nashboro, Duke-Peacock, UNI, CBS, WB's, Virgin, Island, A&M, Mercury and RCA Records.
